Zhenya Tsanev is the Program Coordinator for MSC Enrollment Management at Northwestern University’s School of Communication. In this role, she manages admissions operations, coordinates applicant evaluations, and implements engagement strategies to ensure a smooth and supportive application process for prospective students.
Zhenya brings extensive experience in higher education administration, having previously managed academic and operational functions for a graduate program in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. Her background also includes leadership in international media, where she directed a reporting team, as well as community outreach through a cultural center serving the Bulgarian community in Chicago’s northwest suburbs.
She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Speech and Communication from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria.
