Zhenya Tsanev is the Program Coordinator for the MSC Enrollment Management at the School of Communication.

At Northwestern University, Zhenya has over five years of experience managing the academic and administrative aspects of a Weinberg College graduate program. She ensured a high-quality experience for all students, from admission to graduation.

Before joining Northwestern University, Zhenya was the Outreach Coordinator for an educational and cultural center, working with families in the Bulgarian community to promote learning opportunities of the language, tradition, and history. Prior to that, Zhenya worked for a small media organization, managing a team of reporters and cameramen ensuring timely and reliable news coverage.

Zhenya holds a Master’s in Human Resources from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor’s in Public Communication and Speech from the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria.
